New audit partner at HLB Hungary
Ádám Mihály joins the leadership team of the audit firm as of 1 January 2026
Effective 1 January 2026, HLB Hungary, one of Hungary’s leading audit and advisory firms, appointed Ádám Mihály, Audit Director, as Partner. His appointment strengthens the company’s leadership team: together with Csaba Baldauf, two partners now support Senior Partner Szabolcs Szeles and Managing Partner Gyöngyi Ferencz in steering the firm’s professional operations.
Ádám Mihály is a registered auditor in Hungary and a member of the Hungarian Chamber of Auditors. He graduated from Budapest Business University in 2005 and began his career at a renowned advisory firm before joining the audit team of the Klient Group, HLB Hungary, one year later. During his 20-year professional career, he has also gained international experience at HLB Stückmann in Germany and has worked with the entire client base of HLB Hungary.
Starting his career at HLB Hungary as an assistant, he progressed step by step to partner level through consistent, high-quality professional work. He is the author of numerous professional publications, obtained a sustainability audit certification in May 2025, serves as an international quality reviewer within the HLB network, and since September has been a quality reviewer for the Hungarian Chamber of Auditors.
Until now, he has been responsible for statutory and group audits, while also contributing to various other projects such as due diligence, transformations of companies, acquisitions, and interim management services. His client portfolio includes small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large international corporations from sectors such as automotive, logistics, wholesale, and manufacturing. Thanks to his advanced English and German language skills, he also has extensive expertise in cross-border transactions.
Ádám’s appointment as partner further reinforces HLB Hungary’s commitment to quality and brings fresh momentum to the development of our audit firm. As partner, we will work even more closely together, and I am confident that the benefits of this collaboration will be clearly visible and tangible not only within the HLB Hungary team but also by our clients,” said Szabolcs Szeles, Senior Partner, commenting on the change.
